Masterclass Psychiatry 2025: To deal with the uncanny.
Next year’s masterclass will be held on 20–21 Feb 2025. Our venue is the Clarion Hotel Sense in Luleå right beneath the Arctic Circle with awesome views over the frozen sea.

This masterclass will offer an in-depth training with challenging case presentations, facilitated role play, and case supervision by our international experts from the UK (Tavistock Clinic) and Switzerland. The Masterclass has been awarded 11,5 EACCME credits and can therefore count toward continuous medical education in Europe and by mutual agreement in North America.
By attending participants will:
- Learn to deal with narratives and symptoms that provoke unease, eeriness, and horror.
- Develop strategies to support patients through experiences that are frightening, repulsive, and distressing.
- Learn to distinguish between dissociation, denial and psychosis.
- Understand the concept of countertransference and better master their own unconscious anxieties, biases, and triggers when dealing with patients.
- Improve risk assessment skills.
