This year’s EAPM Conference, organised by Prof. Mirella Ruggeri and her team in Verona, has been an extraordinary success.
The conference took place 27-30 June 2018 in the University building of Verona, only a few hundred meters from the historic center.
Main focus of the conference was high quality research and further steps to strengthen psychosomatic medicine in Europe underlined by the conference’s title of INNOVATIVE AND INTEGRATED APPROACHES TO PROMOTE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH.
With around 600 participants from 45 different countries, the EAPM Verona conference 2018 has been the largest conference EAPM ever organised: 39 symposia, 13 parallel sessions, 5 Masterclasses, 3 workshops, one research group meeting, 232 poster presentations and finally 8 meetings of EAPM special Interest Groups embedded in 9 plenary lectures.
As being set in Verona, Italian charm was prevalent all time with ballet and tenor voices filling breaks of research exchange.
