The SIG Young Researchers welcomes two new members
We are happy to announce that two great early career researchers joined our team! From now on, Sinthujan Sivakumar and Dr. med. Sebastian Dietsche are supporting EAPM’s SIG Young Researchers. Sinthujan is a psychologist doing his PhD program in Clinical Science at the University of Zurich, working in a psychocardiology project at the University Hospital Zurich (Department of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine). Sebastian is a specialist in internal medicine and deputy senior physician in psychosomatics at the University Hospital Basel, who specializes in functional physical complaints and conducts research in the field of “Somatic Symptom Disorder”, combining scientific rigor with empathic medicine. The SIG Young Researchers aims to connect early career researchers in the field of psychosomatic medicine, foster academic exchange, increase visibility of innovative research performed by young researchers, and to be a voice of the emerging young scientists. Every year, we organize activities for ECRs at the EAPM conference. If you would like to learn more or join our group, don’t hesitate to email us at EAPM.youngresearchers@uke.de!
