Lars Wahlström, MD PhD, is a senior consultant at Karolinska University Hospital, Huddinge and Solna site. He has worked in liaison psychiatry since the early 1990s. Initially he focused on AIDS psychiatry and later on disaster management and prevention of psychological trauma. For several years he was involved in training and service development. His current clinical interest is in liaison with gastroenterology and psycho-oncology. His scientific focus is epidemiology and disaster psychology.
