The Young Researchers Special Interest Group was founded at the 2017 EAPM conference in Barcelona and is chaired by Angelika Weigel and Meike Shedden Mora.

Who we are

The EAPM Special Interest Group Young Researchers aims to connect young European scientists in the field of psychosomatic medicine, foster academic exchange, increase visibility of innovative research performed by young researchers, and to be a voice of the emerging young scientists.

The SIG Young Researchers organizing committee is composed of Dr. Isolde Martina Busch from Verona, Dr. Susanne Fischer from Zurich, Hanna Mües and Rosa Maidhof from Vienna and Dr. Kerstin Maehder, Dr. Paul Hüsing and Dr. Natalie Uhlenbusch from Hamburg. Natalie Uhlenbusch functions as official chair and is also a co-opted member in the EAPM board as a representative of young researchers within the EAPM.
